Third Annual Lovelock Balloon Races, February 15th through 17th, 2008
The Lovelock Balloon races are "a go" for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, February 15th, 16th, and 17th (weather permitting.) This is a great Lovelock event, and we're excited to have over fifteen balloons entered with more entries arriving every day. Come on out and enjoy the crystal-clear skys of Pershing County and watch these colorful and graceful balloons glide along sweeping wind currents. Thursday, February 14th Good Luck Dinner, Meisekothen Hall at 6:00 pm
The committee has planned a good luck dinner prepared by the Catholic Ladies Alter Society as an opportunity for our county landowners to meet our balloon pilots. We will provide a time for the landowners to share any "sensitive zones" with the pilots to ensure a successful balloon race!

Slot Tournament at Sturgeon’s Casino
Pilots are free, for all others there is a $5.00 buy-in
Saturday, February 16 at 6:00 pm
Beef Brisket buffet dinner at Meisekothen
Hall catered by Cowpoke Café Pilots plus one are free, for all others the cost is $15.00
Sunday, February 17, at 10:30 am
A hosted buffet breakfast will be held at Sturgeon’s Center Club along with an Awards Ceremony
