Lock Your Love in Lovelock this Valentine's Day.

Calling all lovers for a wedding and vow renewal ceremony in Lovelock, Nevada, to commemorate the third anniversary of Lovers Lock Plaza

When: Feb. 14, 2010 at 3 p.m.
Where: Lovers Lock Plaza, Lovelock, Nevada—just a few short blocks off Interstate 80, 93 miles northeast of Reno
Why: Since its inception in 2006, lovers from around the country, and even across the globe, have come to Lovelock to lock their love forever, joining part of an age old Chinese custom revised into Nevada tradition.

There will be a Valentine’s Day meal for $10.99 each and it will include Strip Steak, Shrimp Kabob, oven roasted potatoes, and a green salad with a beverage. There will also be a live band performing at the Depot.

RSVP to info@pershingcountynevada.com or call 775.273.7213. Couples looking to legally marry at the ceremony will need to secure a State of Nevada marriage license prior to the ceremony. To obtain a marriage license in Lovelock for a Nevada wedding you will need the following:
• Both parties must be present
• Both parties must have a picture ID
• $55 fee for a Nevada wedding
• Know where both parties parents were born
• Groom has to know his father's name
• Provide mothers' maiden names
• If recently divorced, a copy of the divorce decree is needed
• If under 18, must have parental permission (at least one parent present.)
• Go to County Clerk's office Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
